Mentorship – “Getting Men of Color to the Next Level”
We are proud to partner with the Cal State Dominguez Hills Department of Educational Partnerships on this important issue. Boys and men of color are often portrayed in a negative light in our society. These negative representations often influence how others view us, what we think about ourselves, and what we believe is possible. This interactive session will move the conversation beyond these challenges. Instead, we will hear from successful young men who overcame daunting challenges.
The session will conclude with a dialog regarding strategies and resources we can use to get to the next level and achieve our goals.
Bring your boys to the Empowerment Summit to hear more and participate in this powerful presentation!
